Cors Growth and Applications in Australia and Indonesia

چکیده
Since the definition of the Geocentric Datum of Australia in 1994 (GDA94), Australia has had a GPS continuously operating reference station (CORS) network for datum maintenance. The Australian Fiducial Network (AFN) now comprises eight geologically stable, geodetic quality GNSS CORS stations which also contribute to the Australian Regional Geodetic Network and the International GNSS Network. In recent years, state government land authorities have been investing in their own CORS infrastructures to assist with their surveying, geodetic and land administrative tasks. Many new services have arisen from these CORS networks which further assist and evolve the use of spatial information across all sectors of government and the community. Examples of applications are the computation of precise orbits, troposphere and timing products from the IGS, support for machine guidance in mining and construction, precision agriculture, emergency management and the AUSPOS online positioning software. However as CORS networks evolve across state borders, the compatibility of coordinates, business models, accuracy measures and the like need to be addressed. The Federal government in November 2006 announced funding of approximately AUD$16.8M under the AuScope project to support, amongst other geodetic infrastructure, the rollout of 100 new GNSS CORS and 3 VLBI stations to improve the accuracy of the national geodetic network by an order of magnitude. Australia’s nearest neighbour, Indonesia, is also experiencing an unprecedented growth in the number of CORS stations for a wide range of applications. This paper will discuss the similarities between our national geodetic datums and then highlight the added difficulties experienced in Indonesia due to the complex geodynamics of the Indonesian Archipelago.

متن کاملPerformance of Precise Point Positioning using Current Triple-frequency GPS Measurements in Australia
GNSS Network Real-Time-Kinematic (NRTK) has become a common service for many precise positioning applications over the last two decades. However, NRTK cannot service or support user applications if they are outside the Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) network coverage area, such as in the case of offshore surveying. In addition, NRTK requires a fairly dense network of CORS (typi...
متن کاملValidating a Model for CORS Network Management
Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), real time differential correction techniques, Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) networks, mobile Internet and GNSS user equipment are now mature technologies. The challenge is to manage the combination of these technologies to fully benefit users and society. This paper focuses on the validation of a management model, particularly for cu...
متن کاملPotential Applications of Land Treatment Systems for Disinfectant-Rich Wastewater in Response to the COVID-19 Health Protocol: A Narrative Review
Introduction: The use of antiseptics and disinfectants in daily health protocols has a consequence of changing the quality of wastewater to be toxic to microbes. As a result, microbiological wastewater treatment has the potential to not be processed properly. To solve the problem of disinfectant-rich wastewater, a plant-based treatment method can be useful, the implementation of which is a land...

Objective(s): This study aimed to determine the collagen type II (COL2) and SOX9 expression in interleukin growth factor (IGF-1)-induced Wharton’s Jelly mesenchymal stem cells (WJMSCs) and the level of chondrogenic markers in co-culture IGF1-WJMSCs and IL1β-CHON002 as osteoarthritis (OA) cells model. Materials and Methods: WJMSCs were induced with IGF1 (75, 150, and 300 ng/ml) to enhance their ...
